Back when I was a wrestler and coach (we're talkin' 1959-1985), scouting was part of my weekly routine. Knowing what the competition was doing was important, but it was a task to gather the information and find extra time to watch matches. There was no Internet back then. Today it's much easier to harvest results and matches are available online. The big difference is that today I do it for the pure pleasure of following California wrestling and sharing with other fans.
