ATTENTION... WHITTIER /SFS area Titans:
The Lions Club Santa Fe Springs Fireworks Stand needs your support. This worthwhile and hard working group of Titan supporters will host the annual fireworks stand at the corner of Norwalk Blvd & Washington Blvd Big Lots, parking lot, From June 30, 2009 -July 4, 2009. They are activitly asking all sports teams, drill team, clubs, PTA, to sell pre-sale tickets to help fund their programs at Pioneer High School. Volunteers are needed to help man the booth, as well as buy fireworks at our booth. Watch this announcement for further information.
Classes of 1961-1965 Hold Reunion Luncheon
July 19, 2008 Geezers, in Santa Fe Spring, was the site of the Early Years Luncheon where 100+ Titan alumni gathered to get reaquainted and share memories.

Your Pioneer High School Alumni Association (PHSAA) held their Annual Picnic on July 26, 2008. PHSAA has elected to host their own website so no further information is available.
PHSAA kicks off their 50 Years celebration with a Car Show on June 6th. They have also planned an after game Homecoming party celebration at Maggies Pub on October 2nd.

Over the many years that PHS AlumniWEB has been online, I can't think of any organization that has offered support to the Titan cause than the Lion's Club of Santa Fe Springs. This "hands on" group, which includes many Titan alumni, has been unmatched in their dedication and resolve to maintain high community standards and support for a better community.
We encourage you to visit their Fireworks booth for your 4th of July celebration needs. They will be located at the corner of Norwalk Blvd & Washington Blvd in Big Lots parking lot, From June 30, 2009 - July 4, 2009. If you have a few hours to spare, considered helping man the booth and be a part of their success.

MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT RETURNS:
SAN DIMAS - Tournament to be held at the prestigious Via Verde Country Club. Pioneer Alumni support group is now taking reservations for its Spindola - Pollock Golf Memorial Classic.
TOURNAMENT DATE: August 17that 8am Changed to August 3rd to accomodate increasingly large participation. 15 teams confirmed. 3 team openings available.
ENTRY FEE : $125.00 $100.00 (lowered thanks to heavy participation).
Participating Celebrities include: LA Dodgers :Bobo Castillo, Kenny Landroux and Rudy Law, Heisman Trophy winner Charles White. Oakland Raiders : Rod Martin. Other celebrities to be added.
A four-person scramble will be used. Entry fee includes golf cart, unlimited driving range and dinner.
Tournament proceeds will be used 100% towards Spindola - Pollock Scholarships.
